Bluebird Art represents top professional artists whose recognized quality, commitment to their work, and exemplary creative process make their art a celebrated part of your life.
It All Started With Art School in Italy
Bluebird Art founder, Min Liu, came up with the idea for Bluebird Art after spending a summer at an international art school in Umbria, Italy. Surrounded by professional artists, she saw them create beautiful, provocative works before her eyes. Painting alongside those artists that summer, she often wondered why more people are not seeing - and buying - original works by independent artists but instead opting for mass-produced prints from home decor stores at comparable price points. Moreover, she wished for a way for buyers and art appreciators to connect directly with artists and to follow their creative process. After graduating with her Stanford MBA, Min went straight to work developing the Bluebird Art iPhone app and building the community that is Bluebird Art today. Since 2013, Bluebird Art has become the destination for artists and consumers to come together via the creative process of making. Min hopes that Bluebird Art will enrich people’s lives by deepening their understanding of art and bringing more art into their homes.
